By the way, my name’s not Philippe, I just go under my dad’s username. But anyway, modeling has always interested me greatly and I went to this rip off “agency” called Barbizon and it did absolutley nothing for me. No jobs, no nothing. All they wanted was $ $ $ $ $ $ . Has anyone had positive experiences with this agency called “John Casablancas”? I know zip about them, but would like to know more. . . any info?

Yes. They are legit.
One of my friends attends a modeling class with them.
You do have to pay for the classes, but if you’re going to an open call, then they shouldn’t ask you for money.
Either way, yes, they are a good agency.

I went through JC for about three years. they do help you out but agencies that r really interested in you shouldnt ask you for any form of payment if they think u have the talent. (and that was said by tyra banks by the way) they have u pay about 3000 when i attended. the classes are ok but boring(most of them) if u r shy they open u up(which is how i was at the time) job wise…they give u a hotline number. what i mainly did was about a dozen hairshows and runways walk throughs. it was alot of fun. they can even get u into the background of one tree hill. then when u get something like that they keep calling u back. they even can get u higher jobs that are looking for spacific people. i dont want to say they dont help u at all and are a fraud but sometimes it crosses my mind. if u got the money and the dream hunny go for it. they can help u out. but if its just for a hobby i dont recomend it. call JC in Raleigh and ask for Jennifer. shell help u out. and jennifers husband is the photographer. the pics are great but the rhythem is fast paised…u have to be ready. and i recomend manican modeling in the malls for a starter job. the pay is lousie but it gets u jobs for ur resume. and keep EVER pic ever taken of u when u go through. youll need them for ur portfolio. hit me back with any more questions.
